Here are three different Pierogi recipes for you:

Recipe 1: Traditional Potato and Cheese Pierogi

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes

  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Sour cream, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add eggs and water and mix until the dough comes together.

  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it's 1/8 inch thick. Use a 3-inch cookie cutter or a glass to cut out circles.

  5. Place a tablespoon of the potato-cheese filling on one side of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges together to seal.
